Malta Government Easy College Scholarship Scheme


Easy College Scholarship In order to apply for MGSS, the Applicant must by closing date of application, namely June 15, 2011:
1. (A) Be a citizen of Malta who has lived in Malta during the last five (5)years. Provided that for purposes of calculating this need in 5, no consideration will be given for that time period in which the citizens of Malta has been located outside Malta for the learning, health or employment purposes or other purposes which the Board may consider, or
(B) Being a citizen of Malta who is a worker or self-employed persons in Malta, or
(C) Be a resident of the state / EU or EEA family members such as EU / EEA national (as defined in LN 191 of 2007 and LN 205 of 2004 in respectively for EU and EEA nationals), provided that the person has obtained a permanent residence in Malta in accordance with LN 191 of 2007 and LN 205 of 2004 in respectively for EU and EEA countries, or
(D) Be a resident of the state / EU EEA Agreement in Malta exercise its rights as workers, self-employed persons or persons who retain such status in accordance with LN 191 of 2007, or

EHA Partner Fellowship Program Easy College Scholarships


Easy College Scholarships To facilitate the development of collaborative networks between institutions in Western Europe hematology and new accession and candidate countries of the European Union and developing countries.
To support the career development of young scientists from the accession of new or candidate EU countries and developing countries involved in basic and clinical research in hematology by facilitating the opportunity to work at the host institution in Western Europe.

Funding Details:

A maximum of 2 awards will be given.
Easy College Scholarships Funding is for a maximum of 3 years at € 35,000 per year, which includes:
€ 10,000 per year for the host institution to cover the administration, facilities, equipment, travel and / or housing costs associated with project beneficiaries.
salary of € 25,000 per year for recipients, who must be paid through the home institution.

Guidelines:

Easy College Scholarships Applicants must be in new or prospective accession to the European Union countries or developing countries as listed.
Applicants must hold a MD and / or PhD or equivalent and be involved in clinical and / or biological research in hematology.

Home and host research institution should be academic and / or clinical hematology center.
Host institution must provide all facilities for the project applicant.

Easy College Scholarships department head home applicant / institution agrees to be responsible for the EHA on salary payments to the recipient.
Host institution must give that person the opportunity to attend the Annual Congress of EHA.
Applicants are encouraged to return to their home countries after the fellowship.
